RiverTown ALWAYS goes the extra mile for their customers. I have purchased all of my vehicles from them and highly recommend them, especially Brad Hemingway for his help in walking/talking a senior citizen though the purchase of a leased vehicle at the end of the lease term at RiverTown. It is a good dealership and I even drive in from Greenville to the dealership for my oil changes and other vehicle work and have always had a good experience with them. GREAT COMPANY!!!

Phenomenal. I leased an Accord with Casey a few years back and when my family grew, I knew right away that I needed to talk to Casey first. He has a no pressure approach and responds very quickly to text/email. He is well versed on all the features and numbers of all of the vehicles Honda has to offer.He will even go the extra mile to find a deal that works for your particular financial situation before you ever sit down with the loan department. He is very friendly, punctual, and most importantly good at his job.I would highly recommend casey for any leasing or buying needs without reservation. He is the reason I came back to Rivertown Honda when my lease was up. The entire staff is great as well as their service department. Excellent to work with both times!

Tony was my salesman and did a fantastic job working to get me the best price on my new Honda Odyssey. I came in on a Saturday at 3:15 and closed the deal at 3:45 (store closed at 4) which got me in on the lower financing being offered through that date. He worked with me to pump out the paperwork, get insurance coverage and clean up the car until nearly 5:30 when I drove the vehicle home. Three days later he came in early and stayed late while I used his car during my vehicles service for underbody, rust proofing and fabric/carpet protection. He was no pressure and went above and beyond to make me satisfied. A great car buying experience, highly recommend him and Rivertown Honda!

I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. When my car was ready, the guy told me I needed new wiper blades. I knew this and actually had just bought new ones to put on, but I could not figure out how to do it. I told him that I had them in my car and he offered to have them put on for me at no charge. I know that may seem small, but as a single mother that happened to have a major cold that day, it was a nice bonus. This was the only day I had available to get my oil changed and they did it in a timely manner and were super nice. I highly recommend them.

From the moment I entered RiverTown Honda, I felt such a strongly positive difference from any other dealership I have ever worked with in the past. Having worked at an auto dealership 20+ years ago, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the service write-up area. The tech that went on the test price with me (Ron) was courteous and was quite certain what was going on when demonstrated on the test drive. The car was repaired fairly quickly. Other repair items were found, but the service writer (Dwain) was not forceful in trying to upsell me on the repairs. I have a lot of respect for being given that courtesy. Good job, RiverTown!

I recently moved to Grand Rapids and it was recommended to me to stop at RiverTown Honda for the standard oil change. The mechanics were very attentive, friendly, and professional. They did a thorough inspection on my vehicle and found a tailgate light was out. After letting me know, they let me know they could take care of it then. I agreed, and after a short 10 minute wait, they were done. The price was reasonable, service was excellent, and the waiting room had fresh, delicious popcorn for a treat!! Highly recommend RiverTown Honda for your next mechanical needs.

I was surprised how clean this facility was and how much cheaper it was to get my oil changed there versus another location I was going too, just about double price. I went there for recalls and knew of a couple of problems I had going on and, sure enough, they found them and I got them fixed right then and there. Very nice place.

We regularly go to RiverTown Honda for our preventative maintenance/oil changes. It’s great to have a shorter wait since we have Hondas, and each time I call the service department in advance to see how long the Honda vehicle line is, I’ve been given an accurate estimate of wait time. Being able to connect to wi-fi while I wait is also fantastic, as I’m able to get work done while my vehicle is being serviced.

I recently dropped off my CR-V for the annual paint protection. Normally, this is a half day job and I drop the car off, but we have now moved out of town and I had to wait for the vehicle. RiverTown was able to prioritize the job and get me out of there in about 2.5 hours. This also included an oil change and recall replacement for the air bag inflator.

I totaled my 2010 Honda Civic and lived to talk about it so I decided right away that I needed another Honda. Changed dealerships because I was not happy with the Honda dealer where I purchased my last Honda (especially the service department, thumbs down for how they treat women).
 
 Upon walking in the door at River Town Honda I was enthusiastically greeted. During the purchase process I spoke with three people - Kim, Hannah, and Brad. All were exceedingly competent at their jobs, described the vehicle and whole purchase process every step of the way, treated me with respect, and got me exactly what I wanted.. Everyone I encountered at River Town smiled and greeted me. I am 60 years old and have purchased new cars 8 other times during my life and this is only the 2nd time I've had exceptional service ( the 1st was when I purchased my 1st Acura in the early 90's). The other 7 instances I can't even describe as good service.
 
 I would highly recommend the Honda Civic AND RiverTown Honda to any and all looking for a new vehicle. You won't be disappointed! (PS...If you're looking for it, River Town is actually one word, but this application won't accept it as such...Cars.com, you may want to make some changes to your spell check, because people will definitely want to check this dealer out!)

I just finished working with Kevin Hagg, who helped me purchase an absolutely beautiful Kia Sorrento. I was blown back first of all, but how great the condition of all the cars on the lot were, even pre-owned. From the moment I saw my Sorrento, I knew this was the car I wanted, and Kevin helped make it possible. He worked with me on understanding my needs and wants first in a car, and then helped make the finances fit what I was able to do. I bought two new cars from RiverTown Honda since December 2015; a 2016 Civic SE in december 2015 and traded that in six months later on a 2016 Accord Sport, the best car I’ve ever owned. I loved the Civic SE, and the Accord Sport is a fantastic car although I’m probably not going to like paying $220 plus for 19-inch Michelin tires when that time comes. I couldn’t resist the 19” alloy wheels on the Sport. Hannah Stelpstra gave me all the information I needed for both purchases. Everything went smoothly on both purchases and closing for both was easy. I bought a 2008 Civic in May 2008 from RiverTown and had it serviced there the entire time I owned it. My son is now driving it from GR to Kalamazoo five days a week and has had no problems. I have had nothing but good experiences with RiverTown Honda since May 2008. Great service department and sales rep Hannah was great, as was the financial closing wizard.

I came for my first time for an oil change. I was explained very nicely how long it would take and where I could wait for my car to get finished. The waiting area was very nice with wifi and plenty of reading magazined. Everyone I came into contact with were very professional and explained everything to me very nicely. My husband and I leased a Honda Pilot, we loved it, but came to soon realize we loved it so much that lease was not the best option and that the car was just a bit too big for the two of us. So we wanted to get into another Honda, being we really liked the service, we were not pressured to buy, but we knew we wanted to stay with Honda. We called and made an appointment with Mike Leys, We wanted to check out the Honda CRV, so we test drove it, and then looked around the lot and test drove another car VW used for the leg room, but after test driving that we just like the performance of the Honda better. Mike at all times treated us with respect, never tried to change our minds or be pushing. I would definitely recommend going to RiverTown Honda in Grandville MI. We are happy customers, and plan on going back on a return purchase.

I needed my 30,000 mile check up and called to schedule it right after taking a 4,000+ mile trip. They got me in the next day (which was great as I was over my 10,000 change). Dwain has been my Service Advisor and as always, he was very kind! I waited for my car and instead of the estimated 1 1/2 hours for this service, I was out and on my way in less than 45 minutes! I have wanted a CR-V for many years, and now was the time to buy. My current car lease was expiring and I just moved back to Michigan with it’s snowy winter roads. Even though I changed my mind a few times regarding ties, and colors, and even trim levels - Kaitlyn always took the time to answer my questions and never made me feel pressured or like I was wasting her time. After a few weeks, and some help from Brad, we were able to make a deal. There was an error with the sale, and instead of letting it go, Brad did the right thing. He not only told me about the error, but also allowed it to work out in my favor. They were able to meet the price of another dealer in town, and I was much happier dealing with the RiverTown staff. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend them highly.

My recent purchase of a 2013 Honda Odyssey, as a birthday gift for my wife, and the purchase process was full of surprises or more appropriately a surprising lack of surprises. Like many who will read this I have purchased many vehicles overs the years and have had my fill of hidden flaws, blemishes and, undisclosed mechanical issues while shopping far a new car not to mention some of the unsavory sales tactics one must endure in what can be called "the car buying circus". My recent purchase from RiverTown Honda was quite surprising by the simple lack of surprises. After researching on several websites we were able to find the model we wanted and at cars.com I was able to locate the exact vehicle that would meet out needs with the options and history we were looking for. After a few emails, I spoke with them over the phone and worked out the numbers from a distance as I live over 100 miles from their location. I made the 2 hour drive and I arrived at RiverTown Honda earlier than the agreed upon time and even though, it was a busy Saturday morning in their service department I was greeted promptly and courteously and directed to Tony Grahl whom I had spoken with earlier in the week. That's when the surprises started. The vehicle I was there for was still in the detail bay but, we went to see it and give it a once over visual inspection, it passed, surprisingly everything was exactly as advertised with no blemishes or unseen door dings or anything I was not expecting. Once the detail was complete I was given the keys for a test drive and a brief explanation of the best route to take and I was off. I wasn't test driving a some new sportscar or exotic so, in reality, it wasn't a rush of excitement or adrenaline but, it drove out nicely, all of the features and optional equipment worked as designed and I was again surprised that there were no issues to be found. Then it came to the paperwork in the business office and again, they were surprisingly, straight forward and offered none of the typical car dealer add on pressure and shenanigans which are all to common when you are purchasing a vehicle. After all was said and done and I was driving my wife's new Odyssey home I found my self thinking "wow, no drama, no issues and surprisingly no surprises or stress" I can and will highly recommend RiverTown Honda and their entire crew, especially, Tony Grahl. Thank You very much for helping me achieve the cliche' "Happy wife = Happy Life"

This was my first visit to RiverTown Honda’s Service Department, as a new resident in the area. I was treated very courteously and with great professionalism and personal care for the presenting problem with my vehicle, which was an unknown problem (sounds from the rear end). The Service Advisor and the Technician went “over the top” to try to locate the source of the sound, and assess whether or not there was a real problem. Though none was found, I have full assurance that my vehicle got the attention it needed, and is “fit for the road”. I look forward to doing all my future car service at RiverTown.

I drove three hours from the Chicago region to buy from RiverTown, they were the only dealer who was not at MSRP or higher on the Pilot Elite. My wife and I have had a handful of car buying experiences over the last 7 years, and most of them have left a bitter taste in our mouths. We have been lied to, upsold on, and treated terribly. This was not the case at Rivertown Honda. As a matter of fact, it was everything someone could hope for in a car buying experience. Nate Bailey is an outstanding agent. Not once did I feel like he was trying to push anything on us or give us false information. He was straight forward, honest, and easy to work with. Even though we weren’t buying a newer vehicle where he would make a larger commission, he treated us like we were a valued customer. This will bode well for him and your company in the future when we do purchase our next vehicle, as it will be from Rivertown Honda. I hope by that point we deal with Nate in a different nature, and that is him in a management position, if that is his desire. There are few people in this world that I would love working with, but Nate fits that’s persona. From one manager to another, do what you can to incentivize him. You’ve got a keeper.

I had just had a baby a few days before and was not feeling up to being there. She was so very compassionate to our situation and made sure the service people knew to do what they could as fast as they could do it so we could get home with our new little guy. The service was very fast and we were only planning on a diagnostic appointment but they ended up fixing the problem all in record time. I really would like you to know that prior to coming to your facility I had sent requests for vehicles that had been listed online, one being on your lot and another on a lot down the road from you. Back in September my husband and I came in to look at a van. It was a “budget car” on their lot, only $6,000. I went expecting them to do what another dealership did and try to get us to buy a $20K van instead of one in our price range of $6-9l. But, nope! They not only treated us with great respect, which is hard to come by being under 30 with kids, but they didn’t try to sell us anything more than we wanted to look at. Finally, they gave us top dollar for trade in on our old car! Before RiverTown Honda, I had given up on dealerships being fair and honest. I was proved wrong going there. There are still some good, honest dealerships out there and RiverTown Honda is one of them.

In fairness, we just got our Honda Odyssey about 4-5 months ago (from a different dealership - not as close) and this is the first time we serviced our vehicle at Rivertown Honda. And I simply got the oil changed and a battery changed out. But I was SO impressed by three of the most important items to me when it comes to service: 1. Price - I'm what you call a "frugal" person (see "cheap"). And I thought a dealership would charge an arm and a leg for a synthetic oil change (first time getting that kind) and a battery. Both were comparable or better than the places I shopped around! I was SHOCKED. 2. Timeliness - The oil change, even when it was very crowded, was done very quickly - 15 minutes maybe? When I came back the next day to have the battery tested, I'd been warned I might have to leave it for a couple hours (and since it was the end of the day, I was planning on leaving it overnight). I had JUST gotten home when they called me to tell me the test was already over and I did, indeed, need a new battery. And, no, it wasn't a scam. I suspected I needed a new on. 3. Customer Service - I was VERY impressed with their service, willingness to answer my questions, and when I came in to pick up the van - after the building had begun on a Friday night but not being rushed out - they gave my daughter (who was in tow with me) a balloon, making her day. I'm not the type to normally leave comments. But so far - and again - it's only been basic things, I've been very pleased. Thanks!

Alex did a very nice job for us. We went to a Honda dealer in Chicago before we came to Alex. The price was $300 less. However, the experience in Chicago was very unpleasant and we walked out on the dealer. Called Alex on our way back from Chicago and told him we wanted his car. He gave me very clear information on what we needed. It was a cash deal, so he asked for certified funds and specific proof of insurance. We got the insurance binder faxed to him and dropped off a certified check on Wednesday. Picked up the car on Saturday. A very good experience. Complete check list of all we had to know about the car. I would highly recommend Alex and River Town Honda.

I purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot recently from the Rivertown Honda, and Alex Haines, dealer, was the one who helped me with the purchase. He was very helpful. He looked young, but he was very smart, sharp, knowledgeable, and intelligent. I can't even appropriately describe his traits. He was very polite, pro-active and had all the answers to the questions I had. Even the paperwork process was accomplished so swiftly, and I and my wife didn't have to wait that long. The most important issue that the most potential shoppers are concerned about will be the price and the interest rate for financing, but he was able to decipher the demand and budget of mine. I and my wife are now so happy with the vehicle in our possession and the deal Alex helped with as well. I have no doubt that such personality and personal traits would be rarely seen in his peer groups. I am planning to go see him soon for another vehicle for my son. He's a high schooler.

We purchased a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country, loaded with 22k miles on it and we LOVE it! My wife is SO happy! The best part was the user buying experience and the very speedy help. We needed the deal to go through in less than 2.5 hours since we had to be somewhere. After test driving the vehicle the previous week we dropped in on them, unannounced on a Monday afternoon after originally thinking we wouldn't be available until Wednesday and they made it happen! They completed the deal in just under 2.5 hours even though our sales rep had 4 other clients coming to pick up their new vehicles that afternoon. I additionally picked out and purchased 4 snow tires and a hitch (outsourced to Hitches by George) and they facilitated that need within this time frame as well! I am also having them fix a couple scratches on the vehicle and they are helping me out with that at no charge too. I'd recommend Rivertown Honda. They are a pleasure to work with!

Setting up an appointment was reliable and courteous. Received an e-mail confirmation for arranged time and service requirements Upon arrival, the service manager did a quick computer check of what was required and estimate both for cost and time. He was right on for both. The facilities for waiting are great. Coffee, popcorn, TV, newspaper, computer desk, whatever you need is available. That makes time pass by quickly. Upon completion of the work, my name was called, a summary of work completed and suggestions for future necessary work explained. Very thorough and professional. Paid the bill, car was waiting, off I went a satisfied customer.

But it was Alex' sales style that really made an impression. From my first inquiry he responded with, "I'll try to make this as clear and concise as I can". And he did, throughout the entire process. Alex provided me with service that turned what had been a very confusing negotiation process into a straight forward, concise and easy to understand purchase. We communicated primarily via e-mail and I found that quite helpful. We had one minor issue caused by the service department when getting our CRV ready for pick up. I recently was in the need of a new car since I was driving an 03' Ford Focus with almost 200k miles on it. I made an online inquiry on a couple of used vehicles that they showed in inventory and got very quick response to them (especially considering I made the request at 7:50PM and they responded before they closed at 8). Hannah, who I was corresponding with, was extremely helpful and even took additional pictures of the vehicle to send to me. When I stopped in I was able to test drive a couple and get my car appraised for trade in. Relatively quick process from both. Hannah was also extremely helpful. Since I had never purchased a vehicle through a dealership or with financing I was extremely unfamiliar with the entire process. She made it really simple to understand and I think that it was a great help. It was only a matter of two and a half days and I was driving off their lot with my new to me 2012 Chevy Malibu! I even got a checkup from Hannah a few days later asking if everything was still going good and if I was happy. I really appreciate the help they have given me, especially since other dealerships I visited made me feel unappreciated as a customer and like I was stupid for not knowing the process of buying a car. The people I received my service with have my respect and I think the next time I need a vehicle this place will be my first stop.

I found my midlife crisis car, a black 2005 Honda S2000, located at Rivertown Honda. The only problem is that Rivertown is located 5-1/2 hours North of my home in Kentucky. When I called on Wed, April 15, 2015 and asked service if they could squeeze me in for an oil change, I was very pleased that they told me, yes, they could. I didn't get there by 6:30pm. I arrived closer to 6:45pm or 6:50pm, so I'm very very glad that they would still change my oil. In addition to them being more than willing to perform an oil change, they were extremely polite, reassured me that it was fine that I arrived so late, started the oil change right away, and in less than 15 minutes, I was back on the road again. Travis was phenomenal, absolutely awesome!!! From his mannerisms to his professionalism, to his willingness to accommodate me, to him being so courteous and laid-back, even though I am sure he was past ready to call it a day and go home, Travis was just great!!! I have to start out by saying that about 20 years ago the least favorite thing I could think of to do was to buy a car! I was a single mother of two who needed reliable transportation in order to commute to my job in Chicago. I always purchased new cars but I always felt that the sales people could just tell I was mostly ignorant about car buying and later knew I was taken advantage of. Then I met my husband who took over the car buying for me. HOORAY. This is when I was introduced to Kim Berends. Together she has arranged for our family to buy probably 6-8 new cars. She is one of the I most knowledgeable salespersons I have known. She explains things so that I can understand them. I recently bought my first car (by myself) in 20 years only because of Kim. She called me and told me of some incentives that Honda was offering and knew that I may be ready for a different type of vehicle since my retirement. I picked out the car with Kim's hel p and she made it happen by having one made just for me. I am so happy with my new CRV and my experience buying it. Kim took 3 hours showing me my new car. I was confident in leaving and being able to operate all the special features. I know she will be there should I have any questions about it in the future. My husband and I recently bought a Ford Explorer, with the help of Greg Haverdink. We appreciated his service in helping us answer questions, get all of our paperwork set, give us guidance on what to do when we arrived home, and was just very easy to work with. When we were first interested in the vehicle, it was through a website. I had emailed the company late one night and the next morning I had an email waiting for me from Greg. Because of his quick response and service, we were first to go there and it just so happened that we found what we wanted to. I would go back to Rivertown Honda in a heartbeat! Pricing is great and service is excellent.

Having been to a local Toyota dealer with a friend that offered punch-you-in-the-face-until-you-buy sales tactics, Rivertown Honda was a great breath of fresh air. There was zero pressure. They offer you information, guide you through the process, and make sure you're getting a great car. I'll definitely hit Rivertown again in 10 years when I want a new car.

I normally don't take the time to rate anything...EVER. But I wanted to give a shout out to the folks at Rivertown Honda, in Grandville, Michigan. This past week I just purchased 2 brand new vehicles from Randy Bursley, not because I could afford them, but because I couldn't pass up the tremendous deal that Randy gave me. If you are looking for the best price on any new Honda vehicle, you absolutely won't find a better deal than what Randy will give you. My new vehicles were delivered without a single spot or blemish...thank you to the fellas (and gals) in the Detail Department. Joe, the finance guy, was also VERY pleasent to work with. I just wanted to say thank you again for helping us get the Fit. I can't believe how much I love the car. I absolutely love all the seat configurations and that it has 4 doors. Dave, both personable and experienced, made for an interesting and informative conversation. Matt sought me out later to show concerns uncovered by Dan Piatt. My husband and I loved this dealership. They had great service, and we got a GREAT car. There is always a possibility when you buy used that the car is no good. Somethings can't always be helped, but this dealership offered everything up front, even a carfax without us even having to ask. They are great and we will definetly do business with them again!

Laura Gabriel was great to work with, very helpful and attentive from the first time we encountered her outside on the lot when doing our initial "research" and on our return visit to test drive a different Honda. Greg was very knowledgable about the different cars I was considering (Civic EX, Accord LX, & Accord EX) He helped me weigh the pros & cons, was very personable, relaxed, not pushy, he made me feel like I was his only customer, although I know that was not the case!
